How would you describe Mtl’s style? Montreal is an ecclectic mix of hipster and laissez-faire. Montrealers also try to transcend time in their style. When people say 'the 80s are so in right now', it's not true, all of history is in. Look at my dress, it's kind of 40s inspired. You see 1920s pumps, the 50s pencil skirt, chunky 60s patterns... 'Retro' is too limited a term. Anyway, maybe that's not Montreal. Maybe that's the 21st century.

And people see that and take what they like from it, so you have all this crazness bouncing off itself. You usually don't find that outside of like, New York.
